The Quality Reliability Engineer is responsible to deliver world-class reliability for Body and Interior for a leading automotive manufacturer in the Upstate SC by combining engineering fundamentals with deep understanding of product development.
The selected candidate must be self-starter to assess internal quality targets against 3rd party external assessments (Consumer Reports, JD Powers , etc.) related to ordinary, performance and regulatory quality on new and current vehicle programs
The candidate must have proven track record for developing and executing standardization of manufacturing Quality enablers. The selected individual will have experience in managing cross-functionally and possess a broad knowledge of the entire automotive engineering, manufacturing and quality landscape and present teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate must be high-energy, hands-on individual with strength of convictions

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a team environment

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
  • Experience in product development activities
  • Experience with JD Powers reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, & Outlook
  • Knowledge of statistical tools, software
  • Experience with German automotive manufacturing is a plus
