Quality Technician - 12 hr rotating NIGHT shift

Requisition Number Position-1951

Location New Richmond, WI

Responsibilities

This is a 12 rotating night schedule that includes working every other weekend.

Complete dimensional, visual and functional lot release on incoming and outgoing product in accordance with sampling plans and take action in accordance to documented procedures when potential quality problems are identified

Control and properly document non-conforming product

Perform inventory transactions for acceptable and non-conforming product

Coordinate, perform, and maintain calibration procedures

Provide quality systems training and assistance to employees in quality decisions and measurement techniques

Complete capability studies and gage R&R analysis

Prepare appropriate inspection records and measurement reports

Identify and recommend continual improvement opportunities for quality systems

Assist with submission of validation packets

Operate precision measuring instruments in accordance with approved procedures

Manage and report on MRB process

Verify, index, file and retrieve quality records

Participate in problem solving activities

Other duties as assigned

Actively participate in continual improvement, corrective action and customer satisfaction

Qualifications - Education & Experience

Technical degree in related field, or equivalent mix of education and experience

3 years quality related experience

At least one (1) year system management experience

Knowledge in receiving and incoming inspection process and requirements

Qualifications - Skills & Competencies

ASQ certification or equivalent experience (CQT)

Knowledge and experience working in a cGMP environment

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to read and interpret blue prints

Ability to apply SPC (Statistical Process Control)

Strong organizational and time management skills

Proficient computer skills including ERP systems

High level of accuracy and attention to detail
