1) Formulate new and improve product formulas, packages or manufacturing procedures in conjunction with guidelines established by the Marketing and International departments or the product development committee
2) Assist in developing and performing all testing requirements on new formulas and packages
3) Ensure that assigned projects are executed in a manner, which is compliant with all regulatory guidelines
4) Conduct intellectual searches for technical or clinical information through a variety of resources, including the internet
5) Keep the Section Manager, R&D abreast of the financial impact of formulating, sourcing or manufacturing issues related to assigned projects
6) Assist in developing and maintaining timelines, resource allocations and budgets for projects assigned
7) Communicate in a timely fashion, all information regarding formulation, project status, costing, results, etc., to all appropriate individuals, keeping in mind the confidentiality requirements
8) Ensure document test results, specifications and procedures are in standard professional format for inclusion in the drug master file
9) Participate in the technology transfer from pilot scale to full-up production
10) Explore new technologies and materials, which may have application for company product lines
11) Write and review procedures, protocols, and specifications needed to support product development activities
12) Ensure the maintenance and adherence to good laboratory practices and all safety regulations
13) Strengthen the R&D Department by contributing innovative ideas, expertise, knowledge, high professional standards, team spirit, and pride in the company
14) Provide documentation on new product development projects (e.g., status reports, timelines, specifications, procedures, etc.)

1) University degree is required (preference will be given to those with degree in relevant field, though all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply)
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the health care industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to people who have recent experience in research & development
