Hours: Nights. Midnight-8am
Creates a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere for guests. Receives families to the RFC with a warm greeting and communicates with them about its use as well as helps provide them with information about Hospital resources and the local community, if necessary. Provides concierge services to help make the stay of patients and their families as comfortable as possible. Assists Supervisor with department activities and its volunteers. Performs clerical duties. Maintains department cleanliness and other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum one (1) year previous customer service experience required. Experience working with families in healthcare setting preferred. Competence in word processing and basic computer skills. Emotional maturity and ability to deal with highly stressful situations in a positive manner. Ability to work within a team setting. Must exercise good judgment in dealing with customers and be conscious of safety considerations. Outstanding customer service skills coupled with strong communication abilities and good interpersonal skills. Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organizational skills required. Ability to operate a computer workstation, type a minimum of 25 WPM, possess word processing, spreadsheet software and e-mail skills. Able to follow written and oral instructions. Able to work independently with minimal supervision
