Perform appraisal negotiation or property management assignments which regularly encompass complex problems; may supervise a small group of lower level Right-of-Way Agents; and perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:
Basic Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited four year college or university.
Specialized Experience: Two and one-half years of experience in one or any combination of the following:
A. Appraisal of real property. Such experience must have demonstrated knowledge and application of the principles, theories, methods and techniques of real property appraising and must also have demonstrated ability to deal satisfactorily with associates and the public.
B. Acquisition of real property and rights-of-ways. Such experience must have involved the determination of the true market value of the property, utilization of appraisal methods and the negotiation for the acquisition of the property.
C. Property management: The experience must have involved such activities as determining best use and fair rental rate or lease for the property, preparing the rental agreement, and insuring that the terms and conditions of the agreement are fulfilled and disposing of property.
At least one year of the required Real Property Experience must have been experience comparable to the Right of Agent III level, in State government.
Right of Way Agent III: Performs work of a technical nature involving a variety of assignments in one or more of the functional areas of rights-of-way work; and performs other related duties as required.
Substitutions Allowed: Relevant substitutions as described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements, will apply.
License: Applicants must possess a valid driver's license.
