The Registered Nurse functions under the
supervision of the Team Leader/Operations Supervisor. The Registered
Nurse assures provision of care to an assigned patient population in
a professional manner, utilizing the nursing process and the
principles of Continuous Quality Improvement in collaboration with
other health team members. Supports an organizational culture for
Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence and practices
the Service Excellence Standards to groups.

Requirements

Graduate of
an accredited school of nursing

RN currently licensed by the
State of Texas

Handle With
Care & BLS Certification prior upon hire and maintain
certification throughout employment.

Behavioral/Non-Behavioral Restraint Training

Patient’s Rights & Professional Conduct

Pavilion
Specific Policy/Standards Review

For continued employment
all licensed staff will be required to pass annual competency/return
demonstration on high risk department specific policies /procedures
and others as identified by department
director/educator.
