RN - CLINICAL, Developmental Pediatrics, 1.0 FTE
This position is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients by utilizing strong organizational and leadership skills in assisting independent practitioners in assessment of patient status, implementation of clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms, and development and implementation of patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes and ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
Skills & Abilities:
The developmental registered nurse will be an active member of the outpatient Developmental Pediatrics Section. Primary responsibilities include medication management in collaboration with physician instruction, triage phone calls, review of patient intakes, ancillary laboratory studies and school and early intervention reports. In addition the registered nurse will coordinate the Sequential Neonatal Assessment Program, Spina Bifida Program and assist in patient referrals and follow up.
Training & Education:
Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher (preferred).
Minimum five years pediatric nursing experience with demonstrated clinical competence. Possesses prior experience in child development or child and adolescent mental health preferred.
Current PA registered nurse license in good standing.
