Columbia Memorial Hospital is in a quest of team player in a Med/Surg RN. The Med/Surg RN is responsible for following the nursing process with assigned patients. Assesses, plans, directs, evaluates, and performs care. Possesses the skills and judgment to act quickly, knowledgeably, and appropriately in any situation that may occur. Coordinates all services necessary for the care of assigned patients. Maintains certifications and skills necessary to perform duties connected with patient care, and provides for a smooth transition between services. Does teaching, both with patient and family, and assists physicians as appropriate.
Our Med/Surg RN must have a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures; knowledge and skills in techniques of good patient care, whether medical or surgical. Must be willing to learn computer technology. Must be flexible as needs arise and possess willingness to acquire new skills and adapt to a changing environment. Must possess assessment skills for all age groups. Must read, write and speak English. Normal or corrected vision is required to assess patients.

Required Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon; Current BLS Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Acute care experience preferred.
Status : Part Time (40-72 hours per pay period)
Shift : Primarily Night
Salary Range : ONA PT/FT
Overtime Work Rule : 8/80
