Must be willing to float between the North and Central hospitals based on the needs of the health system.
Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Is a role model of professional nursing practice; participates in routine orientation and training of new personnel and students to unit. Three stages of performance exist within this job description:
A. Patient/Family Focus: the nurse who tailors attentive and responsive caring practices while recognizing the individuality of patients and families.
B. Nurse Focus: the nurse who expands his/her scope of holistic care beyond patients and families to recognize and support his/her peers and co-workers.
C. Systems Focus: the nurse who orchestrates care through networking, intuition and empowerment of patients, families and co-workers.
The nurse and their manager will decide which stage best demonstrates the proficiency of the nurse and that evaluation tool will be used to reflect performance. Graduation from a school of nursing. Current Colorado RN license, or willing to obtain a Colorado license. BLS.
Clinical experience in PACU or Critical Care.
Exerting 20 to 50 lbs of force occasionally, or 10 to 25 lbs of force frequently, or greater than negligible up to 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects.
