The Clinical Nurse coordinates nursing care for the patient;
participates in patient / family education and provides leadership by
coordinating patient care and working collaboratively with ancillary
staff and other patient care personnel in maintaining standards of
professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Licensure/ Certification/ Registration:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas is
required. Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
Applicants without these requirements will be eligible for
consideration with the understanding that they must complete these
within 6 months of employment. Graduate nurses have one year to
obtain required ACLS and PALS.
Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing is required.
Prefer at least 6 months experience but will consider new graduates.
