We are excited to launch a new On Call Team to cover the on call needs of the PACU! If you are a self starter who likes to work with new endeavors then we are looking for you! The On Call RN position is a part time salaried position that will be paid a flat rate for covering on call shifts. Work hours will be M-F 7a-7p and 48 hour weekend coverage (Sat/Sun) with 7 days on and 7 off. We offer part time benefit eligibility in addition to one week of floating pto each year and exemption from holiday call coverage.

Here, developing, implementing and evaluating age-appropriate plans of nursing care, you'll soon discover this is a facility where genuine collaboration and support brings the very best out of you. This is where your own energy, responsiveness and communication talents will be reflected by every team member working alongside you. This unit provides post-anesthesia care to patients who have general, regional or local anesthesia and also prepares and monitors ventilator dependent patients pre-operatively. Additionally the staff will provide post-sedation monitoring for Diagnostic Imaging post procedure case and preparations of incarcerated patients for procedures. We are proud to house 12 phase 1 recovery bays.

We require:

1. A current Texas RN license

2. Current BLS is required, plus ACLS within 6 months of hire

3. PALS completion within 12 months of hire
