Your fulfillment will reflect the wonderful care
you can provide for children here.
With over 40 pediatric subspecialties, The
Northwest Texas Healthcare System Children's Hospital is the region's
primary healthcare provider for children. Here, our working
philosophy gives nurses voices that really count. Feedback isn't just
encouraged, it's acted upon. The flow of ideas and the great
interaction between our nurses, doctors and management is central to
the special sense of fulfillment our teams consistently enjoy here.
Some of the services we are proud to offer include but are not
limited to chemotherapy administration, care for trauma patients and
care for post-op surgical patients.
The CN assures provision of
care to an assigned patient population in a professional manner,
utilizing the nursing process and the principles of continuous
quality improvement in collaboration with other health team members.
The CN is responsible for management of staff, physicians, and
patients for a designated unit.
