RN Nursing Supervisor - GSNH
Responsible for supervising resident care on a given unit(s) in accordance with established policies and procedures; oversee and supervise care to the residents of the facility; ensure regulatory codes are met and are keeping with the Mission, Vision and Goals of Catholic Health Services of Long Island.
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current license as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State. Baccalaureate degree with Nursing Major preferred. Minimum of 3 years in clinical nursing and two years experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility required. Knowledge of safety and infection control policies, computer and/or clerical experience preferred. Must be CPR certified.
BLS or CPR/AED training required and accepted from only 2 organizations:
1. American Heart Association - BLS/ACLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program
2. American Red Cross - CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
No online programs from any organization will be accepted.
