RN Staff Nurse - Orthopedic Clinic-121690

We are looking for a RN who can provide patient focused care in a fast pace, multi-provider clinic. The ability to provide leadership and support team work is essential.
The Orthopedic (Ortho) RN's primary responsibility is to develop a safe plan of care and appropriate treatment follow-up for patients with musculoskeletal conditions and/or who are undergoing orthopedic surgery.
- Utilizes telephone interviewing, physical assessment and critical thinking in assessing patient symptoms or lifestyle changes in conjunction with GHC guidelines and protocols to determine appropriate patient plans of care.
- Provides ongoing education to patients regarding lifestyle and dietary adjustments associated with orthopedic therapies and/or surgeries.
- Works collaboratively with the patient to promote patient self management..
Minimum: Graduate of an accredited RN program
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licensure / Certification requirements
Minimum: Valid/Current Washington State Registered Nurse License
Preferred: Ortho RN Certification
Minimum: Orthopedic experience
Preferred: 1-2 years experience in Orthopedics, Wound care experience
