A clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who delivers care to acutely ill adolescent, adult and geriatric patient through the nursing process of assessment, patient, significant others, and other health team members, while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Assumes responsibility for nursing care and patient safety while in the Medical Surgical.
Provides direct and indirect nursing care of Med/Surg during departmental stay.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive)
Utilizes the nursing process to assess the patient's condition and nursing needs.

Los Angeles Fire Card within 30 days of hire
One year's experience preferred in an acute care hospital.
