Coordinates total nursing care for patients while in the perioperative setting. Provides leadership by working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary approach in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice. Organizational and analytical skills necessary. Must possess a level of interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, hospital staff and physicians to direct team members to ensure positive patient outcomes. Graduate of an Accredited School or College of Nursing; current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island or in another state that participates in the Nurse Licensure Compact. Previous OR experience preferred; Ability to scrub is a plus. However, willing to train a current qualilfied South County Hospital employee. 11:30 am- 8:00 pm.
