Practices professional nursing to provide patient care to postpartum and newborn patients through the use of the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation. Collects data pertinent to patient's health status, creates an individualized plan of care, performs ongoing assessment of patient's status. Assesses outcomes and revises care plan as needed to achieve outcomes. Contributes to professional development of staff and colleagues. Works in collaboration with multi-disciplinary team members. Appropriately delegates nursing care to other direct care team members.
- ADN/BSN, BSN preferred
- Current MN RN license in good standing
- Current NRP and BLS training
- Must have one year current post partum experience required

Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule
**This position does not currently require mandatory call but may include this requirement in the future.
- Part time position 28 hours per week
- Every other weekend

RN hires with less than 1 year of RN experience must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing (American Association of Colleges of Nursing or The National League for Nursing) which is inclusive of a clinical rotation in an acute care facility.
