-- Registry eligible or successful completion of the examination by ARRT (The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) . Successful completion of the registry exam must be completed within one year of employment.
-- Certified in CPR. The employee must provide their supervisor with proof of valid certification within 90 days of their start date. Failure to do so will result in termination of employment.
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology
-- One year related experience preferred.
-- Pediatric experience desirable
Knowledge of Computed Radiography (CR) Radiology Equipment
Ability to react and communicate clearly, calmly and effectively
Perform care according to developmental age of the patient
Ability to work effectively in a team
All CHOP employees who work in a patient building or who provide patient care are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.
The Radiology Clinical Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic procedures, delegated clinical and administrative duties in a medical support role consistent with the technologist’s education, training, and experience. Performs other patient care assignments as directed.
