The Radiologic Technologist Specialist - Ultrasonographer specializes in diagnostic medical sonography, schedules patients and performs ultrasound examinations of designated body regions, and interprets and prepares records of scan results.
-Graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program
-Minimum of one year previous working experience in radiologic technology with an emphasis on ultrasound
-ABS degree with Ultrasound major is preferred
-ARRT registered which includes compliance with Professional CEU requirements
-Certified by the Indiana State Department of Health (Diagnostic X-RAY Machine Operator)
-Must obtain certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) within the first two (2) offerings of the examination
