Applicants must hold or be in the process of earning a K-12 Reading license. Also, qualified candidates will demonstrate the following: prior experience, interest, and skill in teaching intervention reading; ability to differentiate instruction in order to meet the individual learning needs of all students; a commitment to working with a diverse community of learners; desire and ability to maintain a professional relationship with colleagues and serve as a strong and collaborative member of the department; familiarity with various reading programs and interventions; skill in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with students; ability to create a positive learning environment that is conducive to learning and inclusive of all students.
