The Real Estate/Mortgage Loan Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring real estate portfolio integrity via supervision of loan processing and the processing team. Provide daily support to real estate processing team by providing ongoing training and feedback. Motivate staff on a daily basis towards accomplishing goals in productivity, accuracy and efficiency while maintaining a healthy environment. Act as servicing liaison to ensure members are being provided great customer service.

DUTIES

Provide support to real estate processing team by providing ongoing training and feedback to the processing staff. Maximize processing efficiency by reviewing loan flow and processor workloads on a daily basis. Assist with processing functions as need. Prepare reports to submit to head of department regarding pipe flow and processing turn times. Identify and report trends in a timely manner. Monitor effectiveness of processing staff and customer service to member and third party vendors. Ensure loans processed through the department meet with the Credit Union, investor guidelines as well as state and federal lending regulations. Maintain department staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training and coaching employees. Responsible for communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job results and counseling. Facilitate a positive working environment that is conductive to efficient and effective work. Review daily reports from sub-servicer consolidating reports to keep management informed of service levels and portfolio performance. Support Credit Union front line and provide training as necessary to ensure a seamless servicing experience for the member. Track loan packages in and out of storage facility, including a detailed and accurate loan package identification tracking system. Verify all loans are properly transferred from origination software to the servicing software.Review real time sampling of home equity and mortgage loans to ensure files are complete, accurate and compliant with credit union, investor, state and federal guidelines. Take immediate action to identify and resolve any deficiencies that are found within a file. Maintain a tracking log to identify errors and trends in loan packages and report findings to management.

QUALIFICATIONS

College Degree in a related field. The equivalent experience can be substituted at the approval of Senior Management. Minimum of 3 years of management/supervisory experience preferably in real estate lending or similar environment. Minimum of 5-8 years of real estate lending experience. Financial institution or title company experience preferred. Provide support to real estate processing team by providing ongoing training and feedback to the processing staff.
