Job Description

Provide excellent telephone and verbal skills for switchboard. Maintain a positive, professional and welcoming atmosphere in the reception area. Provide clerical and administrative support to HR, Accounting, Marketing and Sales.

DUTIES

Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming phone calls (approx. 100 calls per day, answer on 1st ring), provide requested information, and transfer calls promptly, courteously and professionally.
  • Welcome and log in visitors.
  • Maintain job application packets and set up applicant interviews.
  • Monitoring and ordering office and coffee supplies.
  • Maintain weekly spreadsheets
  • Process incoming deposits on a daily basis
  • Assist with HR, Accounting, Marketing and Sales projects as needed
  • Follow company rules and guidelines as ruled out in company handbook
QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and organized
  • Reliable and Dependable
  • Able to sit for long periods of time
Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma, with some post-secondary education preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year general office and clerical experience.
  • Experience using multi-line phone system as well as calculator, postage machine, fax machine
  • Good organizational skills
The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch break)
