Responsibilities 1)Process transcript requests, including accessing with the National Student Clearinghouse to retrieve and process transcript orders placed through their service.

2)Process routine student record update requests, via online portal, paper forms, or Feith document management, including change of address, ensure accurate entry into CX.

3)Interface with students, alumni, faculty, and staff on routine registrar related inquires.

4)Perform degree audits for selected campuses/programs, order diplomas for current graduates and alumni.

5)Assist with answering of phones, scanning of documents, and filing as needed.

6)Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Scope The Records Specialist I, under the direction of the Associate University Registrar, is responsible for transcript processing, student record updates, and registrar office support. Proficiency with the Jenzabar CX system is essential for efficient and effective retrieval and update of student records. The Records Specialist I must have excellent oral and written communications skills and must be able to prioritize his/her workload.

Education Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Technical Skills Intermediate computer skills (MS Excel, Access, Outlook, Publisher) Prior Jenzabar CX experience highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Must have the ability to work in a high-volume environment with acute attention to detail.

Experience Minimum one-year prior experience in a Registrar’s Office or equivalent.
