We are hiring a smart, personable Recruiter to contribute to the talent acquisition and human resources team. In this role, you’ll report directly to the Head of Human Resources and be responsible for executing on Tough Mudder’s fast-paced and ambitious talent objectives.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of each department’s role, responsibilities and open positions in order to improve the quality and efficiency of recruitment efforts
Create and manage job postings on Tough Mudder’s website, job boards and university career services sites
Develop sourcing strategies for open positions (i.e. direct sourcing, internet recruiting, networking, and employer brand marketing) to create a pipeline of exceptional talent
Screen, interview and evaluate potential candidates for position and organizational fit
Assist in the onboarding of new employees
Provide outstanding customer service to all candidates and internal customers
Accurately document candidate progress in applicant tracking system (iCims)
Contribute to the People team’s HR administration responsibilities (i.e. orientation, benefits, and performance assessment processes)
A true “people person”
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Organized and attentive to detail
Willing to be based in Brooklyn
BA/BS degree with strong academic record
3-5 years of demonstrated success in talent acquisition/recruitment
Knowledge of iCims applicant tracking system is a plus
