THIS IS A PART-TIME ROLE. WE EXPECT OUR NEW ASSOCIATE TO WORK APPROXIMATELY 20 HOURS PER WEEK.

The consultant/recruiter is responsible for assisting with all aspects of client recruitment projects as well as assisting with other consulting projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Determines client position to be filled based on assisting with assessing their needs

Meets with client management to assess staffing needs for existing open positions and/or to determine the nature of proposed new positions
Ensures that proposed position profiles are clear in terms of describing the client’s business (if disclosed), the proposed job duties and required qualifications
Drafts engagement agreements that accurately reflect the scope and terms of recruiting engagements
Ensures client management provides guidelines for compensation relative to proposed new or existing positions prior to proceeding with recruiting efforts
Assists with analysis and compilation of data for client HR and financially oriented consulting projects as needs arise

Identifies and develops approaches for attracting candidates through new and established media and on-going recruiting methods

Develops knowledge about current recruiting methods; systems used and seeks new techniques for effectiveness recruiting and recommends changes
Develops relationships with business contacts, external staffing firms, college placement personnel, professors, to assist in recruiting efforts
Identifies any professional and trade associations that can serve as effective forums for recruiting; is active in appropriate organizations.
Researches the use of social media and other passive and active internet recruiting approaches and recommends use of methods determined to be effective.
Performs administrative duties in support of recruiting activities, including scheduling and conducting interviews, and posting jobs, etc.
Assists in proactively identifying passive candidates utilizing a variety of methods; utilizes tracking system to maintain communication with identified candidates.

Qualifies and recommends candidates for openings.

Utilizes applicant tracking system, post jobs and communicate with candidates and clients; documents all candidate activity in the system, and ensures that all relevant information is distributed as appropriate
Posts job openings on Rehmann website, identified job boards, LinkedIn groups and other publications
Reviews applications and resumes, pre-screen for open positions and identifies appropriate candidates
Conducts telephone interviews to qualify candidates for further interviews, ensuring that all practices comply with EEO and ADA guidelines.
Coordinates office interviews with candidates and our client, arranging for logistics of interviews including creating agendas, reserving resources (conference rooms, video-conference equipment, etc.) travel arrangements, etc.

Provides support in the hiring process

Assists Principals of Recruiting in preparing job offers and sending formal packages to chosen candidates
Conducts reference checks, final background checks and other investigations in preparation for new hires’ start dates

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
2+ years experience in a Human Resources role with exposure to the staffing function
Has received training, or learned through experience, the techniques of recruiting in a professional services environment
Understanding of Federal, State and local laws and regulations governing the employer-employee relationship, particularly as they relate to hiring and employment discrimination
Strong written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Hands-on experience with job boards and applicant tracking systems
Upbeat personality when interacting with clients and job applicants
Confidence when working with other professionals, candidates and clients
Highly developed client relations and communication skills
Exceptional organizational abilities
Timely responsiveness under deadlines
