DESCRIPTION

As our in house Recruiter, you will be instrumental in building our team of exceptional A players, which differentiate and drive our highly successful and unique organization. As the talent acquisition evangelist for our businesses, you will proactively network to build a pool of exceptional candidates enabling us to readily acquire the talent needed as we continue to grow. As a member of the Talent Recruitment & Development team, you will be expected to wear many hats, gracefully, to enable us to build and further develop our phenomenal team. The accountabilities and responsibilities outlined herein may be expand and changed as the company progresses.

DUTIES

  • Develop and execute progressive, integrated and cost effective recruitment solutions using LinkedIn, Career Builder, Indeed, referrals, professional organizations and cold calling in order to efficiently and effectively fill staffing needs.
  • Proactively develop and maintain a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Regularly analyze and maximize effectiveness of recruiting plans and efforts.
  • Interview and screen candidates via phone and in person to identify A players with the skills, experience and strengths required for each position in order to make appropriate recommendations to departmental leaders
  • Process candidates in an efficient manner to extend all job offers and conduct preliminary hiring requirements (perform reference checks, drug testing, background checks)
  • Assist with preparation of new staff members' folders with all of the appropriate paperwork, training schedules and signed procure manuals.
  • Consult regularly with department leaders to understand recruitment needs ensuring that the recruiting department can proactively respond.
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, LinkedIn and other social and professional internet sites.
  • Create job descriptions and post openings via the company's website, internet, with professional organizations, social and professional media, and in other position appropriate venues.
  • Assist with planning and facilitating staff events.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations for all aspects of employment, recruitment and employee relations resolution. Maintain updated knowledge of FMLA, EEOC and TWC regulations.
  • Assist with administering and grading initial and annual staff exams
  • Conduct exit interviews
  • Administer staff policies, procedures and programs, as needed. Work with leaders to ensure departmental policies are updated quarterly.
  • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in recruiting
  • Knowledge of current FMLA, EEOC and TWC regulations.
  • Proven success with recruiting quality candidates through LinkedIn & cold calling
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multiple projects to meet deadlines.
  • Proven negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade candidate hiring decisions.
  • Ability to maintain stable performance under pressure or opposition and handle stress in a manner that is acceptable to others and the organization.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leadership team and staff
