POSITION DESCRIPTIONRecruiter DEFINITION: Performs recruiting related duties at the professional level and may carry out support responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, payroll, HR information systems, benefits administration, training, employment, labor relations, employee documentation, affirmative action, and employment equity programs.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree Required. Two years experience as a recruiter.Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues. The ability to research and analyze various different type of data information. Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with Therapy 2000's standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law. Ability to organize and prioritize work.Must have the ability to make hiring recommendations to field leadership based on resume assessment, phone screens, initial interviews and other candidate assessment practices.Background in employment law and other government compliance regulations is preferred. REPORTS TO: Recruiting ManagerExempt - Professional, does not qualify for overtime ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1) Locates and recruits qualified applicants to hire.2) Uses Internet recruiting, career fairs, networking events, print and media advertising, email campaigns, post card campaigns, social mixers, and other recruiting tools to hire a minimum of four new employees each month.3) Performs behavioral and competency based interviewing with applicants.4) Participates in career fairs, professional conferences, networking events, and community relations events.5) Maintains and updates recruiting contacts database.6) Sets interviews with hiring managers, completes background investigations, reference checks, and verifies employment documents.7) Conducts new hire benefits orientation and benefits enrollment.8) Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs.9) Assists in the maintenance of employee files and updates employment documentation as required.10) Assists in the maintenance of employee databases.11) Performs other work-related duties as assigned.12) Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations, i.e. HIPAA, FMLA, FLSA.13) Directs employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints to the proper resources and/or contacts.14) May facilitate and/or provide training (including orientation and annual training) to the workforce.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
