MEDNAX is a national medical group that comprises the broad physician services of Pediatrix Medical Group and American Anesthesiology. The Pediatrix Medical Group and American Anesthesiology units, through their affiliated professional corporations, provide physician services including neonatology, maternal-fetal medicine, pediatric cardiology, pediatric intensive care, pediatric and OBGYN hospitalist services and anesthesiology.
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Recruiter in our Corporate Office in Sunrise, FL (near Sawgrass Mills).
The recruiter will provide recruitment support to accomplish staffing level goals for non-exempt and lower-level exempt positions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Responsible for management of the new hire process for Hearing Screen Program.
•Screen and interview applicants for employment, ensuring that qualifications and prerequisites are met.
•Assist candidates and internal customers with understanding company’s staffing processes/job requirements.
•Administer all applicable candidate pre-employment skill assessments.
•Track resumes and applications and generate candidate correspondence.
•Background checks/reference checking.
•Employment offers, including preparation of letters and related documents.
•Document and maintain recruiting activity.
•Coordinate job advertisement process.
•Ensure completion of all new hire paperwork.
•Coach hiring manager/team on behavioral/legal interviewing.
•Track and report progress towards recruiting goals.
•Ensure all legal requirements for equal employment and compliance are met by keeping informed of changes in these areas and by implementing the necessary practices/programs to meet these changes.
•Develop and maintain open and positive communication with all internal and external contacts .
•Work with HR Generalists to ensure consistent practices.
•Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one-to-two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of Federal and State laws and practices pertaining to employment/labor, standard human resources practices and procedures.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Knowlege of eRecruitment or related Applicant Tracking System.
Healthcare recruiting experience is preferred.
Previous experience recruiting high volume hourly positions is highly desirable.
Effective oral and written communication, including telephone etiquette.
Excellent organizational abilities and time management skills.
Proficient in MSOffice (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
