The Recruitment Specialist, Hispanic/Latino students is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and retaining Hispanic and Latino students who are eligible for enrollment in EKU. The incumbent advises students, organizes outreach events, and develops enrolled students to raise awareness, ensure services, and offer referrals to ensure the academic success of the target population. The incumbent also develops and hosts academic, community, and social programs/events, and conducts both group and individual sessions with prospective and existing students in both English and Spanish.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish including Translation/Interpretation and fluency in oral and written language is required
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
Minimum Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in education, social work, counseling, higher education, Spanish, Latino American Studies, or related field is required.
One year of related work experience is required, including experience working with the Hispanic/Latino students
Education can substitute for experience but experience cannot substitute for education.
