Financial is hiring for a Regional Advisory Consultant.
This position serves as the "face"
of Advisory Consulting Services to advisors in the field.
primary objective of the employee in this role will be to facilitate, educate,
coach, and train advisors and their staffs on the benefits of LPL’s advisory/fee-based
platforms, with the goal of increasing advisors’ acceptance, usage, and
effectiveness with advisory solutions.
primary means of measurement as to the effectiveness of the employee will be
increased advisory platform adoption, penetration and sales, as measured versus
the territory's goal.

broad based territory comprised
of LPL advisors within multiple channels (IAR, RIA, and Bank/Credit Union).
Meet sales objectives for the assigned territory.
Travel within the assigned territory a minimum of 3.5 days
Hold a minimum of 12 to 16 meetings per week with advisors,
sponsors, and recruits.
Leverage sponsor partners in the field to bring value added
education to advisors in the form of small group workshops on topics ranging
from practice management, business development, and investment related themes.
Represent the outlook and themes of LPL Research in the
Partner with internal LPL business units such as Business
Consulting and Business Development.
Manage a territory travel and entertainment budget
Work with internal partners (dedicated internal advisory
consultant and internal product specialist) to develop strategies that will
lead to increased advisory sales for advisors.
Partner with IAS and IS Business Development teams
to assist in recruiting
in individual joint meetings with recruiters and their targeted recruits
in Home Office Visits, both home office based and those exported to the field.
with branch managers to assist them in their direct recruiting efforts by
helping to tell the competitive LPL advisory story to reps they are actively
with the RIA team to support their recruiting efforts directly in the field
through one on one meetings and workshops.
Participate as a representative of Investment
& Planning Solutions at LPL and industry events
University workshops within the assigned territory
producer conferences such as Masters, Advisory Leaders Forum, Business Leaders
Forum, and Advanced Wealth Management Symposium
Advisory and Research Due Diligence Meetings
partner due diligence meetings and divisonal and national sales meetings
Enterprise (OSJ) Meetings
On occasion, the Regional Advisory Consultant will have the
opportunity to engage in consumer facing activities such as HNW and
Institutional meetings alongside advisors.
Degree in Business, Economics, or Finance or a related field
years in Financial Services working as an Advisor, Wholesaler, or Consultant
FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 or 66 required.
skills including Word, Power Point, Outlook, Excel, and SalesForce (preferred)
be able to travel weekly
Detailed knowledge of investments, fee-based platforms, asset
management firms and competing broker/dealers is preferred
Must live in or have managed a terrioty consisting of the
following states: Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri
