Regional Field Manager – Leveraged
MarketSource specializes in representing top manufacturers of wireless, consumer electronics and various computer products by providing professional sales, training, and advocacy teams. These teams deliver these services within various consumer electronics retail chains throughout the US. MarketSource is focused on building and executing successful retail programs. This Regional Field Manager position will be responsible for the day to day execution of the retail team within their regions, consistent delivery of MarketSource’s retail messaging to the field, develop advocates through constant evaluation, and provide insight to MarketSource and Client leadership via field intelligence gathered by their team. The qualified individual must possess a strong passion for success, an abundance of ENERGY and be committed to delivering superior service and performance for our clients. The candidate must be able to manage a team of MarketSource Retail team members that are responsible for product demonstrations, educating retail sales associates, and execution of merchandising objectives as directed by our clients. The Regional Field Manager will be responsible for interviewing, hiring, and managing the daily deliverables for each Field Rep within their territory.
Must be able to engage contacts at all associate levels within big box retailers.
Build a sales team culture that fosters cooperation, best practice sharing, sales innovation, and strong individual commitment to sales excellence
Responsible for reaching monthly, quarterly and annual goals.
Supports and manages MarketSource retail team within region to drive sales through building relationships at all levels of store associates, executing visual presence at store locations thru client directives, and advocating for product promotion
Ensure Client Satisfaction:
Act as a liaison between MarketSource Program Management and MarketSource Field Team to provide communication on all client directives to ensure client satisfaction
Work with MarketSource program management team to develop goals that are align with the business objectives, client focused, and consistent within market,
Act as an owner and agent to ensure client satisfaction by gathering and reporting account intelligence on client products, markets, and client competition. Provide support and/or conduct client executive visit preparation and ride-a-longs to store locations
Partner with the MarketSource Support Team to provide field support to the MarketSource Field Team by trouble shooting and resolving challenges within the stores as they arise
Build Skills and Knowledge:
Partner with MarketSource Program Management to provide regional success, challenges and recommendations for continuous improvement of program processes and success
Drive MarketSource compliance and client initiatives to continuously improve the quality of client visits and client satisfaction
Consistently educating field team on knowledge of client’s and competitor’s product(s) in market
Soft Skills development of field team
Responsible for interviewing and hiring high quality candidates to build a successful team
Partner with the MarketSource Program Management to ensure that region’s operational goals meet and exceed MarketSource and client objectives
Manage the performance of the MarketSource Field Team by providing coaching and training to ensure success within region, MarketSource, and clients
Core Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
2-5 years of sales experience in a professional role, some previous supervisory experience preferred
Able to make decisions in the absence of specific directions (prioritizing, problem solving)
Be self-motivated and able to work independently
Able to work with a diverse clientele and staff
Demonstrated leadership, motivational and influencing skills
Demonstrated operational and process skills
Organizational skills set to stay on task
Experience in working as a remote, or field based sales team
Ability to manage and motivate Part Team field team based on performance based metrics/ measurements
Excellent communication skills
Ability to incent and drive sales reps to perform and deliver client expectations
Flexibility to work weekends and travel when required
