Regional Human Resource Manager

Based in Northeast Corridor

This position supports our Fresh Dough Manufacturing Facilities which produces the dough for our breads, bagels and rolls for delivery to the local bakery-cafes.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director Human Resources, Fresh Dough Facilities the position will provide full-scope HR generalist expertise to support the Northeast region with fresh dough manufacturing facilities located in

New Jersey, Detroit, Minneapolis, Toronto and Ohio

.

Responsibilities include but not limited to; employee relations, policy interpretation and administration, compensation/benefit administration, staffing and retention methodologies, training and development, legal compliance and performance management.

Key Accountabilities

·

People Advocate

– Serve as the region’s HR Business Partner, keeper of the Panera Culture and ensure positive workplace practices that support Associate Engagement and Satisfaction.

·

Strong HR generalist background with the ability to influence, create and maintain positive employee relations.

·

Coach, counsel and advise hourly and salaried associates on all HR and policy related issues

·

Partner with Training and Operation teams to identify associates training and development needs

·

Assist in the recruitment of salaried manager and driver staff for

multiple markets.

·

Proactively evaluate and diagnose HR needs/issues and recommend solutions to support business needs.

·

Ensure legal compliance of all local, state and federal regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

·

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience

·

PHR/SPHR certification preferred. Bilingual a plus

·

5-7 years of Regional /Field HR manager experience in food manufacturing or retail QSR industry.

·

Multi-unit/location HR experience –

Required

·

50-70% Travel –

Required

·

Strong relationship and team building skills

·

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

·

Ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects
