Position Summary: The primary responsibilities of the Regional Human Resources Manager will include managing employee relations and concerns, maintaining a safety conscious work environment, recruiting and general HR administration in an effort to support the business needs of Mistras enabling us to be the one stop solution for asset protection.Major Responsibilities/Activities: •Must be visible and openly accessible in the lab and corporate environments to serve as a coach, mentor, and counsel to employees at all levels. •Advise Senior Management, HR, and Legal of emerging issues or trends that may require focused attention to a Positive Work Environment and strong Safety Culture. •Maintain a safety conscious workforce, focusing on SCWE.•Facilitate the timely investigation and resolution of employee concerns ranging from quality, safety, and people issues involving allegations of Harassment, Intimidation, Retaliation and Discrimination (HIRD). •Participate in regular Personnel Action Review Board Meetings to ensure consistent treatment of employees and prevent any real or perceived retaliation in the workplace.

  • Coordinate Work Environment and Safety Culture Surveys to include detailed analysis and recommendations. •Ensure legal and contractual compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR laws and regulations by location (federal, state, local); may assist with compliance investigations. •Create reports and analyze data which may include turnover, exit survey responses, engagement survey results, and headcount reports. •Serve as a subject matter expert for people development processes including performance management, annual reviews, training, coaching and mentoring.
  • Assist in maintaining effective compensation and benefits administration for the business and/or labs. •Design and develop talent management tools and compensation programs for the entire company; monitors these programs and revises as necessary. •Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems. •Assess HR related training needs and develop appropriate web-based training programs, facilitating training as needed.•Administer customer relations with BP Alaska.
  • Liaise with client ECP representatives. •Prepare employee communications as needed to support a positive work environment. •Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Manage employee paperwork process and files, assuring legal compliance.•Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
