Responsible for managing, implementing, and developing global Group and Energy Platform projects and initiatives that are consistent with Group Transformation objectives:
  • Build key stakeholder relationships across the energy and finance platforms’ functional support groups
  • Work collaboratively with business managers, subject matter experts, front-line users and global project teams to understand and document business requirements across various business areas
  • Take a hands-on approach to evaluate, plan and execute on business/project plans while ensuring proper communication is maintained and business risks are minimized
  • To identify process inefficiencies and reduce while fully understanding energy platform needs and promoting global process standardization across finance
  • Capable of taking a hands-on approach when necessary to build new processes and enhance existing systems and processes, working with development and front-office to deliver enhanced solutions
  • Be able to effectively translate business function requirements into technical specifications for development teams
  • Take a proactive approach to helping the business reach long term objectives through spearheading key initiatives within Finance, both locally and globally
Required Skills
  • Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, MIS , Computer Science or related discipline
  • Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and capable of presenting information and project objectives to Senior Management
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task across competing priorities
  • Capability to work with people with different goals and initiatives
  • Self-motivated and a team player with attention to detail and follow-up
Required Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst type of role focusing on Finance systems within a trading environment
  • Hands-on system process flow experience in finance and accounting trading systems
  • Commodity trading or financial services industry experience required
  • Ability to manage multi-functional global projects, initiatives and priorities
  • Past success as a change leader and managing end-to-end data flow projects
  • Demonstrated command of financial risk management principles
  • Worked in a global setting across multiple geographies to accomplish key objectives
