Responsible for managing sales learning curriculum. Target focus is on the continued development, delivery and measurement of our sales programs at a regional level to ensure adaptations in language, customs and local business practices are considered and included in all sales training for our Hilton Focused Service Brands, to include Hampton, Homewood, Home2, and Hilton Garden Inn. The person in this position will be responsible for managing the learning curriculum for Sales, which includes training front line Directors of Sales, Sales Leadership, and other on-and-above property Sales functions where appropriate. This includes developing content that supports the business objectives of the Focused Service Sales team, and ensuring all learning materials are relevant across all regions in the target organization. The person in this position will both facilitate, measure and in concert with Instructional Designers develop learning events. Primary business partners are: Brand BPS Senior Leadership for Focused Service brands, RVP of Sales & Marketing Americas, Africa & M E Europe, Regional Directors of Sales for GRChina & Mongolia, India, Sydney, Japan/Korea.

What will I be doing?

Executes the sales education delivery strategy as determined by the Director, School of Sales. Learning that enables property operations to achieve brand business targets and revenue goals.

Utilizes written and verbal feedback to make minor modifications and/or updates to content; communicates participant evaluation data regularly to Commercial College/School of Sales team.

Ensures significant program changes or expressed needs for new programming are provided to Director, School of Sales for further follow-up.

Provide sales education solutions to properties that help them improve results; communicate successes and challenges to brand culture and communication leaders.

Schedules and delivers sales education programs including instructor led sessions, regional learning activities, webinars, or other learning solutions tailored to meet specific needs.

Assists properties with specific learning needs, such as Prescriptive Service Interventions (PSI).

Hosts and facilitates sales training experience in support of selected brands and advises new DOS's and other appropriate brand/sales leadership throughout on-boarding process, connecting them with tools, resources, and support systems that enable their success.

Conducts Train-the-Trainer sessions and other regional certifications in order to help properties meet and brand sales initiatives.

Tracks progress of properties using key metrics, to be determined by Director, School of Sales, in partnership with focused service brand leadership.

Ensures individual performance goals are set and works diligently toward accomplishing them annually.

Complete cross-training in core program delivery.

Provide sales education property trainers, where applicable, with guidance on leveraging sales training programs to achieve business results.

Support dedicated property learning leaders where appropriate.

Integrate new sales learning initiatives into existing sales education programs and regularly provide updates with guidance to the field.

Monitors status of all hotels in the region against applicable business reports, and produce summaries highlighting sales education's impact on regional performance.

Manages expenses and time allocation in alignment with on-going sales education needs and specific projects.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

High School Diploma

Four (4) years experience in a Corporate Learning and Development organization with knowledge in instructional design and web based training and information delivery. Understand the concepts of: conducting needs analysis, applying instructional design methodologies using Adult Learning Theory, interacting with subject matter experts to obtain content for intended audience, interpretation of functional specifications and/or SME provided documentation and translation into appropriate training components, storyboard creation, relaying industry specifics examples to reinforce the training message and meet approved instructional design and process standards.

Minimum of five (5) years experience presenting and facilitating proactive and responsive learning solutions to meet business needs and seizing opportunities for continuous improvement in individual, team, business unit and organization performance.

Minimum of four (4) or more years hotel sales or management experience

One (1) year project management experience

Ability to work nights and weekends as needed

Ability to travel domestically or internationally as needed up to 90% of the time

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Four (4) year college degree preferred.

Minimum of five (5) years hospitality experienced within a leadership role in hotels.

Professional certification: CPLP, DDI, CHT, Franklin-Covey

Working knowledge of OnQ and/or any Hilton Worldwide applications
