The Regional Manager is responsible for delivering brand education programs within the Hotel College of Hilton Worldwide University. Target focus is on the continued development, delivery and measurement of our brand education programs at a regional level to ensure adaptations in language, customs and local business practices are considered and included in all training for Focused Service and Full Service Brands for Owned & Managed Hotels. The person in the position will both facilitate, measure and in concert with Instructional Designers develop learning events. The Regional Manager is also responsible for providing learning support and project management skills directly to hotel and regional leadership while ensuring brand perspective is distinctly represented. Business partners may include VPs or Directors of Culture & Communications, VPs or Directors of Brand Performance Support, hotel General Managers, and property Owners/Developers.

What will I be doing?
Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Executes the brand education delivery strategy as determined by the Senior Manager, Learning that enables property operations to achieve brand business targets and strong Guest Satisfaction and Loyalty (SALT) scores.
Utilizes written and verbal feedback to make minor modifications and/or updates to content; communicates participant evaluation data regularly to Hotel College team.
Ensures significant program changes or expressed needs for new programming are provided to Senior Manager, Learning for further follow-up.
Provide brand education solutions to properties that help them improve results; communicate successes and challenges to brand culture and communication leaders.
Schedules and delivers brand education programs including instructor led sessions, regional learning activities, webinars, or other learning solutions tailored to meet specific needs.
Assists properties with specific learning needs, such as Prescriptive Service Interventions (PSI).
Hosts and facilitates General Manager Orientation experience in support of selected brands and advises new General Managers throughout on-boarding process, connecting them with tools, resources, and support systems that enable their success.
Conducts Train-the-Trainer sessions and other regional certifications in order to help properties meet and exceed brand standards.
Tracks progress of properties using key metrics, such as Guest Satisfaction and Loyalty (SALT) measures or Team Member Opinion Survey (TMOS).
Ensures individual performance goals are set and works diligently toward accomplishing them annually.
Complete cross-training in core program delivery.
Provide certified brand education property trainers with guidance on leveraging brand programs to achieve business results.
Support dedicated property learning leaders where appropriate.
Integrate new brand initiatives into existing brand education programs and regularly provide updates with guidance to the field.
Monitors status of all hotels in the region against applicable business reports, and produce summaries highlighting brand education's impact on regional performance.
Manages expenses and time allocation in alignment with on-going brand education needs and specific projects.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
High School Diploma
Minimum of four (4) years experience in a Corporate Learning and Development organization with knowledge in instructional design and web based training and information delivery. Understand the concepts of: conducting needs analysis, applying instructional design methodologies using Adult Learning Theory, interacting with subject matter experts to obtain content for intended audience, interpretation of functional specifications and/or SME provided documentation and translation into appropriate training components, storyboard creation, relaying industry specifics examples to reinforce the training message and meet approved instructional design and process standards.
Minimum of seven (7) years experience presenting and facilitating proactive and responsive learning solutions to meet business needs and seizing opportunities for continuous improvement in individual, team, business unit and organization performance.
Minimum of four (4) or more years hotel management experience
Minimum of one (1) year project management experience
Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
Ability to travel domestically or internationally as needed up to 90% of the time
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions
Four (4) year college degree preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years hospitality experienced within a leadership role in hotels.
Professional certification: CPLP, DDI, CHT, Franklin-Covey.
Working knowledge of OnQ and/or any Hilton Worldwide applications.
