Assists the Regional Administrator in the supervision, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of policies, procedures, resources, and program support services for assigned Community Corrections units. Manages and supervises assigned Community Corrections units and staff to ensure successful implementation of Department and Divisional policies and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to provide management direction for several work units and work effectively with agency heads an public officials. Demonstrated ability to make effective oral and written presentations. Working knowledge of Community Corrections operational practices as well as applicable federal, state and local laws and ordiances. Working knowledge of fiscal policies and procedures related to budget development and monitoring practices for units. Demonstrated progressively responsible administrative skills.
Prefer Bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences with a focus on criminal justice or public administration. Master's degree is preferred.
