Regional Sales Director

Humedica, an innovative venture capital backed healthcare technology company with offices in Boston, MA is looking for a Southeast Regional Sales Director who is passionate about using information technology to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of the health care system. We develop analytic information systems for physicians, hospitals and pharmaceutical manufacturers that extract and present data employing near real time analytics.

  • Experience selling direct to IDN’s, Hospitals and large Physician Groups (over 50 Dr's)
  • Sales forecasting discipline (
  • Working experience with Partners to drive sales
  • Experience with, and thorough understanding of, buying cycles in healthcare
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Great presentation skills in front of C level executives, physicians

Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 or more years of successful sales experience in healthcare (provider/IDN) required
  • Business Intelligence/Analytics software background is preferred but not required
  • Previous over-quota sales performance in a healthcare provider oriented company
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience and Qualifications:
  • 8 years selling directly to Hospitals, IDN's or large Physician organizations (preferably software versus devices or consulting services)
  • experience growing a regional territory
  • experience doing product demonstrations for initial sales meetings
  • understanding of healthcare reform (ARRA, HITECH, Meaningful Use, Etc.)
  • knowledge of advanced analytic solutions/terms used to define appropriate patient
    cohorts, treatment pathways, outcomes, and associated costs
  • experience navigating procurement processes
  • knowledge of clinical drivers for enterprise healthcare provider accounts (ACO's, HIE's, Bundled Payments)
  • technical understanding of computer software technology
  • knowledge of Cox business and clinical challenges, including enterprise customer requirements
  • excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
  • strong pipeline management and account development skills
Key Relationships:
Internal – VP Sales,Marketing Department, Implementation Services

External – C-Level executives, specifically at the CMIO, CMO,CIO, VP of Quality level
in Integrated Delivery Networks, Academic Medical Centers, Large PhysicianGroups.
