Job Title: Regional Sales Representative - National Accounts

Reporting to The National Accounts General Manager, the Regional Sales Representative is responsible for the development of new project and program opportunities for the National Accounts team, with a focus on the Western US. This position is tasked with prospecting for new clients, serving design/architectural influences, developing new relationships, and guiding existing accounts into deeper commitments. The ideal candidate will have a history of developing, strengthening and maintaining key client relationships, while developing and executing plans to manage and service accounts. The Regional Sales Representative will endeavor to add full BuildingEnvelope products and services to each account, including glass, composite panels, and fabrication. In this role, the Regional Sales Representative will retain responsibility for understanding client needs at all levels, and insuring that programs are properly developed with the support of the National Accounts team.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Understand and communicate the value proposition of OBE National Accounts
Prospect and mine for new opportunities
Develop a network of designers and architects that seek our support and enforce the use of our products
Understand the key principles and expectations for each client and program
Seek out and leverage support from NA Sales, Program Managers, Estimators, and Engineering
Support clients with engineering, design, and program development, including on-site support when needed.
Champion BuildingEnvelope strategies
Leverage OBE glass plants and other facilities to service clients across North America.
Direct and develop opportunities in accordance with the National Accounts strategic plan

Key Objectives/Duties:
Insure alignment of our clients and programs, both prospective and existing, with corporate goals for National Accounts.
Identify and creatively solve unique customer and program challenges
Develop and follow a proven process for identifying, qualifying and presenting new client opportunities
Have measureable success in adding product and service lines to existing accounts
Identify and close ‘tip-in’ accounts
Actively cultivate relationships with OBE sales reps and glass plants
Pursue opportunities to support Service Centers and Glass Plants
Support and leverage field sales representatives to sell across the entire OBE and Oldcastle, Inc. enterprise
Create support networks and design programs to exceed customer expectations.

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related program
A minimum10 years of glazing industry experience, with a preference towards contract glazing experience
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Track record of developing and implementing profitable sales programs that meet team expectations
Experience working with national retail customers and/or experience in a directed national sales program a plus
Sales Management experience with and understanding of P&L responsibility a plus
Background that includes engineering, design and/or development of custom aluminum systems and glass/panel applications
Sales or technical presentation experience with architects and end users
A proven track record demonstrating a complete understanding of the construction processes
A thorough understanding of the role of engineering and drafting in the sales process
Advanced product and technical knowledge of glazing systems, glass, entrances, hardware, heavy glass doors, and metal panels
Ability to communicate in the commercial construction environment
Ability to understand and execute advanced B2B sales techniques, including Insight Sales concepts.
Experience with, Reed, Dodge, Plain, and CRM’s.
