Highly motivated individual to be a Regulatory compliance analyst/liaison for our Clinical Information Systems team.
The Regulatory Compliance/Clinical Application Analyst participates in key initiatives and activities related to CMS, JCOAH and other regulatory agency compliance as defined and in collaboration with the Corporate Office of Clinical Effectiveness (OCE)
The main focus of this position is to anticipate what the impact of newly released guidelines will have on the system
i.e. , how
changes and updates will be incorporated into the system, how
the system will
act with the changes and where the end users who will need to see these measures find the information easily
In addition this person will participate, as time allows, with non-regulatory application projects and/or departmental tasks.
Works collaboratively with all team members.
Participates in design and development of new applications and/or current applications.
Supports implementation of new functionality within Cerner and other clinical applications.
Assists with installation of new software releases, system upgrades, and new applications evaluations.
Follows standard change management procedures.
Working knowledge of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and JCAOH as well as other healthcare regulatory agency guidelines.
Current license as Registered Professional Nurse or other health care professional required.
Minimum of two years recent experience in Quality Management highly preferred.
1+ years Cerner experience as an end- user or support analyst required.
M Must live in the greater Orlando area or be willing to relocate.
Ability to travel up to 75% at times.
