The Regulatory Compliance & Accreditation Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Performance Improvement with tasks and activities related to performance improvement, regulatory compliance and accreditation. The Coordinator is dedicated to promoting hospital-wide quality through coordination, monitoring of, and oversight for ongoing readiness to satisfy standards/requirements of external accrediting bodies (Joint Commission, CMS, TDH, etc.) as well as the corporate quality review system surveys (QRS). Activities/functions include managing/analyzing data, compiling reports, conducting facility rounds, assisting with pertinent education activities, and participating and/or facilitating regulatory compliance committees, teams, task forces.
Texas RN license required
Bachelors Degree in Nursing required
5 years clinical experience required
2-3 years experience in quality management preferred
Ability to work/function as part of an interdisciplinary team, statistical analysis, and critical thinking skills
Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills
