Under the general direction of the Director, provides for therapy leadership for assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care of assigned area; participates in development of long
range plans for growth of the musculoskeletal product line; communicates department/corporate goals to associated staff in order to facilitate team unity and motivate individuals; serves as a
resource to staff and physicians; establishes and maintains project completion schedules; collaborates with associates in development and review of related programs and services; and supports the
hospital mission in accordance with regulatory standards.
Education: Bachelors of Science in Physical/Occupational Therapy required. Masters Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
Certifications: Current Kansas Licensure required; BCLS certification is required.
Experience: Two years of clinical experience required. One year of supervisory experience required.
Demonstrated competence in program development, marketing, client relations, and project management.
Requirements: Effective organizational, planning, negotiating coaching and conceptual thinking skills
Analytical skills necessary to interpret quantitative and qualitative data relevant to service line development.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Interpersonal and problem solving skill necessary to interact with executives, physicians and staff
Ability to clearly direct and motivate individuals
Ability to recognize and capitalize on marketing opportunities.
