Provides quality, accurate and timely customer service. Promotes bank products through positive proactive sales, informs and educates customers about products, services and benefits. Performs related duties as required to achieve banking branch goals (meet/exceed sales goals/referral goals, etc). Provides support to the Branch Manager to ensure service quality and performs daily processing of financial transactions in a retail environment.
•This position is responsible for opening checking accounts, savings accounts, and provides all other deposit product services at the customer’s request.
•Explains product benefits, changes, restrictions, requirements, and any other relevant product information to customers and bank employees.
•Responsible for offering the teller line supports in order to keep the lines to a minimum and customer service to a maximum (performs daily processing of financial transactions).
•Cross-sells and makes referrals to generate new business and additional services, promote bank products and further establish business relationships.
•Assists in conducting meetings to promote sales, product knowledge and customer service.
•Responsible for taking loan applications for personal/retail consumer needs as required.
•Assists with dual control vault responsibilities and assists with audit controls.
•All other job related duties as assigned.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
