Overview

Take responsibility for creating and maintaining the application builds for AIR's application suite. Become a member of AIR's growing Software Research and Development team. Develop commercial grade applications for web and desktop applications

The candidate will implement continuous integration, daily, ad-hoc and release builds with minimal user input. You will explore and evaluate new processes, techniques and tools for streamlining automated software builds, development deployments, automated testing.

Responsibilities
  • Develop automated build and release processes with various scripting languages
  • Maintain a timely build schedule that serves SDG development groups for AIR C++ and C# products
  • Maintains source control and branches in Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Communicate build schedule and hot issues to the development teams and work with team members to make any necessary fixes to keep the build process on schedule
  • Work with Technical Service Group (TSG) for build packaging and release documentation
  • Expand the daily builds to include automated unit testing and documentation generation
  • Create and maintain release documentation for AIR products

Qualifications
  • 5+ years hand-on experiences in commercial software product release management
  • 5+ years working experiences in source/version control management systems, including Team Foundation Server, ClearCase, or others.
  • 3+ years working experiences in various scripting and application configuration, preferred in Microsoft Windows platform
  • 3+ years working in build tools such as MSBuild, Team Build and FinalBuilder, ANT, NMake or others.
  • Capabiity in or interest in learning a development language like .NET C++/C# is important
  • 2+ years working experiences with Microsoft Visual Studio IDE
  • Working experience with TFS
  • Capabiity in or interest in learning a development language like .NET C++/C# is important

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING
• B.S. in CS.
