Our team is growing, and we are hiring a Software Release Engineer. In this
hands-on role you will design and develop software release engineering tools.
You will administer software builds and releases and manage source control
repository. In addition you will participate in the development of FIS's product
installer and will implement other tools to assist deployment and testing. Our
software is developed and deployed on Windows platforms (.net) and uses the

5+ years of release engineering experience.
Experience with source control systems, TFS, with a thorough understanding
of source branch and merge techniques.
Excellent scripting skills related to build and release processes and tools.
InstallShield development experience with knowledge of the windows build and
Working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including .NET, ASP, COM.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Experience integrating test validation and code analysis tools into the

This position is responsible for implementing and supporting best practices and
procedures in version control, software development lifecycle management,
application build management, application distribution and deployment
management, and other software configuration management activities. Sets up
complex projects in the version control tool, creates and troubleshoots
distributed builds/compiles, as well as trains and consults with development
teams on how to use the tools. Requires some scripting or coding
responsibilities. May be responsible for upgrading or installing new hardware
and software components. Typically requires a minimum of 5 to 10 years
experience in information systems and technology as well as specific knowledge
of FIS products and environments.
