Mintel produces a series of reports focused on the multicultural consumer. These reports deliver insight into their behavior and attitudes that help clients make business decisions. Mintel is in search of an experienced research and market analyst with expertise in the multicultural space with a knowledge of the African American and/or Hispanic consumer . The qualified individual will contribute to our internationally recognized publications by applying his/her extensive knowledge and critical thinking to both qualitative and quantitative research. This expert will join a team of industry analysts dedicated to delivering compelling syndicated and custom reports to a wide range of the world’s largest and most creative companies.
Produce compelling syndicated reports that include consumer and market research and perspective.
Deliver professional documents in conjunction with publication timelines.
Provide critical thinking, insight and forward looking statements that impact our readers’ business/careers.
Work collaboratively with fellow analysts, sales, marketing, research analytics and operations.
Provide insights direct to clients around key trends and product activity, in-person and via webinars.
Act as a Mintel spokesperson in the area of African American and Hispanic consumers.
Partner with product managers to develop and enhance existing products and services.
Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred
Minimum five (5) years experience in a research, marketing or consulting role.
Expertise in the African American and / or Hispanic consumer market.
Exceptional communication skills, written and oral.
Demonstrated presentation skills for large audiences and individual clients.
High level of organization and scheduling abilities.
Expertise working with syndicated data and statistics, such as Census Bureau data.
Expertise working with syndicated consumer research such as Experian Simmons National Consumer Survey.
Ability to travel up to 5% each month.
Expertise working in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
