The Opportunity:

BillFloat is looking for a Report Development specialist to join our growing risk management team whose mission is mitigate risks and drive overall profitability for the organization. You will work with our risk team and core partners (sales, operations, product management, and external vendors) to develop and deliver data-driven reports. It’s an opportunity for you to make it happen at a start-up with a huge opportunity.

  • Develop Custom Jasper reports using iReport Designer
  • Write sophisticated and optimized SQL queries
  • Analyze and fix reporting problems
  • Support and maintenance of Jasper iReports
  • Ensure development conforms to standards, are flexible, re-usable and optimized for Performance
  • Work with team members in defining report requirement
  • Define and develop reporting solutions per study requirements
  • Define and develop standard production reports
  • Present and articulate reporting features and benefits
  • Provide a high level of customer service

  • 2+ years experience with Jasper iReport and using XML files
  • 3+ years experience in RDBMS SQL, preferrably MySQL
  • Familiarity with financial services, in particular risk analytics and accounting
  • Java implementation of JasperServer Extensions a plus
  • Dimensional Model concepts a plus
  • Developing reports in a Data Warehouse environment a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly document implementation processes
