T-Rex Corporation is currently seeking a skilled Requirements Analyst to support the Social Security Administration’s Disability Case Processing System (DCPS) program. T-Rex is assisting with baseline enhancements, functionality development and operations and maintenance supports for DCPS systems. The Requirements Analyst III (RA3) is responsible site specific gap analysis, to include business process analysis and modeling, usability, and 508 compliance. He/she works without technical oversight and is regarded as an expert and may serve as a manager/lead.
Must have 3+ Years of experience performing in a role of a Requirements Analyst or a similar role.
A good understanding of software requirements processes
Familiarity with business process analysis and modeling, usability and 508 compliance
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing (including e-mail) at a professional level and to distill complex technical and management data to a laypersons understanding with conciseness, clarity, and accuracy. Ability to organize complex concepts in written or presentation formats. Ability to clearly present information, verbally and in writing, to audiences of diverse technical backgrounds.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, innovative and creative.
Microsoft office suite to include creating documents, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations for analysis often with no template or guide. Spreadsheets may include formulas and data imports and exports
Duties & Responsibilities:
The candidate will gather, analyze and document site specific gaps to support the development of the DCPS application comprising of Case processing and Workload Management, Fiscal, Correspondence and Management Information subsystems.
Specific requirements include; Application Settings, Users/Roles, Organizational Entity, Business Rules including impact on Global Rules, Correspondence Processing, Fiscal Processing and Management Information reports.
The candidate will utilize this information to collaborate with DCPS requirements, development and test teams and incorporate necessary updates required for DCPS deployment. The candidate will report and review Gap Analysis with the project team on a weekly basis.
The candidate will incorporate these work products into the DCPS requirements documents, design specifications and related work products and produce a weekly status report.
