Assist Portfolio Managers in generating and analyzing fundamental research to assess value and identify investment opportunities in external, domestic and corporate emerging markets debt.
Keep informed of developments and market trends in emerging corporates and countries, gather data, develop and maintain monitoring tools.
Maintain existing and develop new valuation models to help identify value in external, domestic and corporate debt.
Support the growth of the firm's business in areas where strong EMD research offers a competitive advantage.
Post-graduate degree in economics/finance/corporate finance recommended. Three to five years of analytical/research experience, preferably in Emerging Markets is required.
Prior experience in macroeconomic accounting is preferable.
Strong quantitative skills are required. Prior experience with econometric/statistical software recommended.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and entrepreneurial orientation are required.
Candidate must be self-motivated with strong organizational and analytical skills as well as effective interpersonal skills.
High level of creativity in structuring research assignments and deliverables is required.
