Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Stanford University is
seeking a highly motivated, hard-working and professional statistical analyst
and study design consultant. The successful candidate will join a vibrant team
working on a wide variety of collaborative projects in public health,
influenza, and pulmonary and critical care medicine. Projects will include
research that will help guide health policy at local and national levels
through working with agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and
provide evidence of past accomplishments demonstrating the following skills:
analytic thinking and ability to problem solve independently.
analyzing medical data with strong problem-solving abilities for handling messy
data. Technical expertise in a broad range of statistical methods, including
data mining, OLS regression and generalized least squares linear regression,
categorical data analysis, analysis with missing data, and power analysis.
performing literature searches.
writing skills with a professional, scholarly, and clear voice.
oral and written communication.
effectively reading, writing, analyzing, publishing, and presenting academic
knowledge of research methodology and behavioral interventions skills.
to work both independently and collaboratively.
degree in Statistics, Biostatistics or related field.
